こんにちは！本日もリスニング日和ですね！
今回のリスニング日和は、トランプ政権で国務長官Secretary of State（日本で言う外務大臣）になったマルコ・ルビオさんです。ウクライナ戦争終結を目指し、サウジアラビアで開催されたウクライナとの高官協議に臨んだ後、ウクライナが米国が提案した30日間の停戦案を受け入れたことを明かした時の音声で練習します。
ルビオさんは、長年上院議員をしてきた人で、大統領選挙に立候補した経験もあり、2016年の大統領選挙ではトランプさんとやりあってボコボコにされていた記憶あり。今回はトランプさんに協力し、重要閣僚にもなり、サクサクバリバリ仕事をこなしています。個人的な勝手な印象ではルビオさんはずっと議員＝あんまり動かない人というイメージがあったので、長官就任後のめまぐるしいフットワークに驚いたのと、それ以上に、私恨があったとしてもわきにおき、現実主義で仕事をこなしているのは、見習いたいところ。でも本当はどう思っているのか、聞いてみたいです。

①Warming-up Shadowing 録音なし
スクリプトは見ないでシャドーイングしましょう。録音は不要です。 英語音声を再生し、聞こえてきた音をしっかり声を出して正確に発音します。激しい運動の前の準備体操です。
②Short Reproduction 録音なし
まずは文章を短く切ってリプロダクションをしましょう。必要ならスクリプトを確認しながら。録音は不要です。
・ネイティブ英語音声を/のところまで再生し、聞こえた英語をしっかり発声してリピートします。
・一語一句同じでなくても、意味が同じなら別の表現を使ってもよいです。自分のスピーキングが正しい文法になっているか自信がない場合はオウム返しの方が安心。
・あれ今何て言った？？という時は、もう1度音声を再生して確かめるか、それでもだめなら、スクリプトをチラ見して確認を。
