no.56リプロダクション編 リシ・スナク英国首相 保守党代表戦勝利スピーチ Rishi Sunak’s First Statement as Tory Leader
こんにちは！本日もリスニング日和ですね！
今回のリスニング日和は、英国首相に就任したリシ・スナクさんのスピーチです。つい最近リズ・トラスさんの記事をあげたばかりなのに、2か月経たないうちに首相と保守党代表をお辞めになりました。保守党（正式名称the Conservative and Unionist Party）はスナクさんを新しい代表に選び、そのあと首相にも就任、という流れですが、今回練習に使うのはその保守党の代表に選出されたあとのスピーチです。首相就任スピーチではなくて。内容的には普通の決意表明です。奇をてらわず、定型文を重ねてありますので、単語を入れ替えれば色々と転用可能。何度もシャドーイングをして、短いスピーチのひな型にどうでしょうか。
構文を直観的に理解し英語を頭ごなしに解釈できるようになったら、ネイティブ感覚のリスニング力もすぐそこ。スピーキングの力も伸ばせる練習です。

準備：ヘッドホンをつける。自分の声を録音するレコーダー。 （英文スクリプトと日本語訳は一番最後にあります。必要に応じプリントアウトして下さい。）
①Warming-up Shadowing 録音なし
スクリプトは見ないでシャドーイングしましょう。録音は不要です。 英語音声を再生し、聞こえてきた音をしっかり声を出して正確に発音します。激しい運動の前の準備体操です。
②Short Reproduction 録音なし
まずは文章を短く切ってリプロダクションをしましょう。必要ならスクリプトを確認しながら。録音は不要です。
・ネイティブ英語音声を/のところまで再生し、聞こえた英語をしっかり発声してリピートします。
・一語一句同じでなくても、意味が同じなら別の表現を使ってもよいです。自分のスピーキングが正しい文法になっているか自信がない場合はオウム返しの方が安心。
・あれ今何て言った？？という時は、もう1度音声を再生して確かめるか、それでもだめなら、スクリプトをチラ見して確認を。
